Championship information status, checked 2026-10-05: Qualifying results are available. Official pre-entries, final fields, post positions and live prices are not yet published here. The pre-entry deadline is October 19 at noon EDT; race order and post times are scheduled for October 21; entries close October 26. A deadline passing does not publish a field. Official schedule.

The 2026 Breeders’ Cup World Championships are scheduled for Friday, October 30 and Saturday, October 31 at Keeneland in Lexington, Kentucky. The two-day program contains 14 Grade 1 championship races worth more than $34 million in purses and awards.

How GAMELIN picks work on Breeders’ Cup day

GAMELIN does not pre-pick horses from an unofficial contender list or stale field. Once the exact Keeneland card is available, each championship race can be run through the free model using the verified active runners and the available evidence for that race.

The projected winner is the model’s top-ranked runner under the information available. It is not automatically a BET. The separate price-and-quality gate can still return PASS when the field, evidence, Conviction or current odds do not support a wager.

Picks by race: all 14 Breeders’ Cup divisions

Fourteen races, fourteen different decisions. Five juvenile championships and nine championships for older runners cover dirt and turf from five and one-half furlongs through one and one-half miles. The official schedule sets each race’s age, sex, distance, surface, purse and maximum starters. Those facts define the problem; they do not supply a winner.

Start with Keeneland, not a generic Breeders’ Cup angle

Keeneland’s main dirt track and turf course create the venue context for every division. Use the Keeneland track guide for course facts and the exact-card checklist. Distance, surface, weather, rail placement and scratches can materially change how a race should be interpreted.

The Keeneland Fall Stars guide maps eight October 2–4 qualifying stakes to their championship divisions. The California road to Keeneland tracks seven Santa Anita Challenge races. An automatic berth confirms qualification for a division under the official program; it is not a projection that the winner will start or win at Keeneland.

Entries, post positions and odds: what is official now?

The shared status at the top records what has been verified for this collection. Qualification, pre-entry, selection, final entry, assigned post, scratch and official starter are separate stages. The October 19 deadline, October 21 race-order announcement and October 26 entry workflow require individual official confirmation; none advances solely because a date passes. Live odds belong to the current pari-mutuel board near post. GAMELIN labels each information stage instead of presenting one as another.

Futures or promotional prices can help describe public expectations, but they are not the live win pool used by the race-day decision engine. A strong contender at an unattractive price can still be a PASS.

Use the free race-day workflow

  1. Confirm Keeneland, date, race number, surface, distance and every active runner.
  2. Open the race-card finder or paste the exact supported race URL into GAMELIN.
  3. Read the displayed data mode and coverage; do not silently upgrade provisional inputs.
  4. Separate projected winner from the price-qualified BET/PASS decision.
  5. Use the fair-odds calculator and ticket-cost calculator when arithmetic—not another opinion—is the question.
  6. Recheck scratches and current odds near post. If identity, freshness, coverage or value fails, PASS.

Independent, free and source-labeled

GAMELIN does not take bets, hold player funds or guarantee a result. Official Breeders’ Cup and Keeneland information remains authoritative. The analyzer remains free, and partner compensation cannot alter probabilities, rankings, Conviction, stake caps or a PASS decision.
